Resumo: (youth center)
The hosting organization is a youth center in Italy dedicated to youngsters aged 11-19. There they can meet their friends, take part in organised activities, play sports and receive support for their homework. Many of them come from immigrant backgrounds and the center’s activities are fundamental to prevent school dropouts and support their inclusion in the community. The activities with elderly people and adult immigrants are also a way to strengthen the community ties in this neighbourhood.

Perfil: - MUST be aged between 18 and 30 years old
- MUST be resident in an EU country
- MUST be a girl because of accommodation arrangements
- motivated to work with children, teens and elderly adults;
- ready and motivated to interact with local people and live a deep cultural experience;
- patient, kind, polite, tolerant, able to listen actively and willing to work in team;
- active and interested in sports activities;
- good knowledge of English

Tarefas: The activities of the project will be divided in two phases:<

June-July: Summer camp activities with children

- Animate recreational activities for children (6-11 years old);
- Supervise the children during summer camps

August-October: Support in the youth center and activities with adults and elderly people

- Support the creation and maintenance of a vegetable garden;
- Support children and teen’s education by helping them with homework;
- Hold English lessons for women with immigrant backgrounds;
- Support the sports and socialisation activities for elderly people
