Resumo: The Center for Social Education is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 as a legal entity in the Republic of Croatia aiming at working on the development of civil society through youth and community work. Target groups are young people and other target groups that have an impact on raising the quality of life of young people. The main areas of activity are: Education for work with young people in the community; Supporting and setting up youth clubs and setting up and implementing youth information and counseling activities through youth info centers; Support to other organizations; Coaching activities based on non-formal education and working methods; Developing youth policies and strategies; Development of voluntarism, etc.

The Center has 9 employees, 47 volunteers and 40 members. The staff is highly educated, with university education for Youth and Community Leadership at the University of Jonkoping, Sweden, and most have many years of coaching experience (preparation and implementation of training, workshops, focus groups, round tables, presentations, etc.) in the field of youth work and work with youth workers.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
who are open-minded, communicative and creative and have some skills in the field of work we want to work with young people with fewer opportunities and health difficulties. Digital skills are also welcomed. Additionally, in order to volunteer on such positions, we are looking for volunteers willing to take the initiative during volunteering, as well as with developed empathy for target groups with whom you will work.

Tarefas: support youth with fewer opportunities and health difficulties in the city and development of inclusive volunteering which in the area of this community is lacking and in development, compared to other types of volunteering. Therefore, the organization will cooperate with the local stakeholders through 4 types of activities:
1) Preparing and leading different workshops and activities for target group in the field of art, culture, music, dance, sport, language, etc., which will offer them different learning opportunities, joyful and relax time;
2) Organizing adjusted voluntary activities in the local community,
3) Developing and participating in info and promotional activities that will promote inclusive volunteering, and
4) Developing and participating in info and promotional activities that will promote ESC. Additionally, we envisaged participation of volunteers in other ESC and Erasmus+ activities on Croatian coast.

Condições: Selected volunteers will be accommodated in a rented flat suitable for 2 persons, near our office and vacancy place. Besides covered costs for living, each volunteer will receive monthly allowance for food in amount of 150,00 euro for buying and preparing food, as well as additional pocket money in amount set by European solidarity Corps program guide 2022 to the standards of living in Croatia which is amount of 5 euro per day.
