The hosting organization is actively looking for a motivated EU Solidarity Corp Volunteers to join its international team in Sweden, for 1 year starting 1 February 2023! The hosting organization is a pan European network with more than 140 members in 40 European countries in every part of the continent initiated by citizens and artists. We have been at the forefront of repurposing industrial and commercial buildings for arts, culture and community uses since 1983.
The members are multidisciplinary spaces that combine artistic and social activities, as they believe that arts and culture have the power to transform people, spaces and societies.
The coordination team consists of 11 skilled and motivated people from different professional backgrounds and origins (Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa), and a long record of international experience. The organization’s communication language is English. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for the further steps in the matching process.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: ARE YOU THINKING OF BECOMING AN ARTS AND CULTURE EVENTS PRODUCER? Are you passionate about arts and culture, activism, urbanism and/or architecture? Do you have a solidarity experience in organizing arts and culture events, conferences/talks or public events? Do you want to improve your skills in an exciting international environment, get to meet a multitude of stakeholders in Sweden and across Europe, and assist senior project managers in their production work on our local and European events? We may have something for you!

Condições: You will be accommodated in a safe house in a safe area - 15 min bike ride to central. You will live together in a newly renovated housing complex dating back to the 17th century where you have your own private room and share common facilities such as kitchen, toilet, shower, washing machine, living room and garden.
The accommodation is fully equipped with furniture, beds, refrigerator and what else needed. You will be provided with a local bus card and bicycle as well as pocket money. There are several supermarkets available in the city to purchase food.
