Resumo: Founded in 1976, the hosting organization is a non-profit organization that works to attend the necessities of children, teenagers and adults with disabilities, mental health disorders and/or at risk of social exclusion. The association’s main goal is to offer comprehensive care to its target group according to their needs and interests – and those of their families - in order to achieve their maximum human development and promote social inclusion.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
flexible, highly motivated, open-minded and energetic person willing to live an incredible experience.

Tarefas: Volunteers support our skilled professionals in the different services and activities, always under their guidance. There is also the option of creating and developing a personal project depending on the interests of each volunteer.

1. Special education School
The volunteer will provide support in classrooms during the lessons, in the dinning room during the lunchtime, in
the playground during free time. There a few classes divided by the children’s capabilities.

2. Housing
Assisted living residences: the volunteer will help people doing the housework, eating and taking care of themselves teeth cleaning, showering, going to the toilette… Also, he will implement leisure activities in the residences.

3. ocupational Center
The volunteer will contribute to develop different activities related to therapeutic work, art, wood treatment or healthy lifestyle habits. Also, they will provide support in the dining room during lunch time.

4. Ocupational Cneter
The volunteer will contribute to develop different activities related to therapeutic work, art, healthy lifestyle habits. Also, they will provide support in the dining room during lunch time.

5. Taller
The volunteer willl help during diverse workshops, art and sport activities the organization has both a Sports Club and a Leisure Activities area that organise different activities for its users and volunteers help implementing them. Basketball, swimming and cycling are the main sports and the corresponding trainings take place during the week.

Concerning leisure activities most of them take place during the weekend, outside the organisation.

Condições: Accommodation: volunteers have a flat with their own room. They share the flat with the other volunteers, being a mx. of 6 people. They share the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room.
Food: Volunteers work 5 days/week. Lunch is provided the days that they work. For the rest of the meals, they receive 120€/month.
Transport arrangements: our organisation is in charge of booking all the transportation needed from the volunteer destination to Tarrega at their arrival and their departure.
