Resumo: (communication, education, events)
The hosting organization has been a space whose programme orientation is dictated by young people since 2007. Right now these are culture, digitality, sustainability, entertainment, non-formal education and volunteering.

Throughout the year we accept initiatives and wishes of youngsters and include them in the process of creating and implementing activities in order to make sure they become proactive participants and as active citizens as possible. The same applies to the international volunteers we`ve continuously hosted throughout many years.

The regular activities of the youth center include cultural events such as improvisational theater, varieté, cabaret, poetry evenings, stand up ... – the program of all these events is co-organized and mostly performed by young people themselves – and concerts where we give priority to young music groups. In recent years, we have also focused on digital content: video and audio production, photography, podcasts and radio… and on sustainable content: clothing exchange and seed exchange. We organize social evenings, exhibitions, workshops (creative, theater, music and video, workshops for training technicians – especially sound and light) ...

Perfil: Age: 18-30
You don't need any specific knowledge, but we need you to be interested in cultural and digital activities and be motivated for learning new skills. Being active on social networks (FB, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) is definitely a plus!

Tarefas: You will help with the implementation of old and with the design and implementation of new content for our youth centre.

You will help with evening events, concerts, festivals, exhibitions, workshops ... mainly preparing the venue, helping at the bar, working as a light technician, helping backstage, performing or just participating in a workshop or playing video/board games. These are all activities that usually take place in the youth centre, however, in the past two years the focus of our activities was also more digital-based and oriented towards developing content for/with youth online.

You will prepare your own events with the help of mentors – organising workshops or social events where young people are able to be active participants, whether in-person or online.
