Resumo: (activities with children)
The coordinating organization from Poland has an open call for a long-term Corps.
We are looking for 4 volunteers to work in kindergartens and a school in the city of Wrocław.
Please read the criteria below and apply by sending us the documents mentioned at the end of this call before the 27th of November 2022. The project starts on the 15th of January 2023 and finishes on the 30st of June/31st July 2023.

Perfil: - are 18 to 30 years old and are resident of EU country
- have not done any European Voluntary Service / European Solidarity Corps project before.
- have a clean criminal record (a relevant document should be sent to us after the recruitment).
- Love working with children
- are creative and imaginative
- have good organizational skills
- are open-minded and honest
- are flexible, friendly and helpful
- want to learn polish
- are responsible and trustworthy
- like working in big groups
- have a positive attitude to life and changes
- have some experience in scouting / voluntary work/ baby-sitting
- are ready to work with/for the local community and to promote the project.

Tarefas: - Helping the teacher with childcare in a safe manner;
- Giving support in self-help activities of young children, like dressing up, feeding, co-creating a sense of security (for example going to the toilet, cleaning running noses, cleaning the table after meals, leading the child by the hand somewhere if needed etc).
- Supporting children during didactic classes;
- Helping the teacher when going to the garden and out of the kindergarten (coach trips);
- Presenting one’s country through workshops, visual aids, dances and other activities for children and their families;
- Engaging, in accordance with the interest in organizing preschool events: Christmas party, Children's Day, Mother's Day and Dad's Day, etc.
- Creating art workshops according to interest and skills/ different art techniques, modeling of various materials: clay, papier-mâché (paper pulp), salt dough etc., independent activities;
- Creating workshops according to a volunteer’s interests (ecological, dance, art, drawing, playing musical instruments, theatre, etc.);
- Teaching a foreign language (native or English if you are good at it) - adequately to the competencies and origin of the volunteer - independent activity. Teaching children simple phrases, games, songs, poems, counting, days of the week in the native language of volunteer. This can be everyday (by meals, games) not only during special activities.
- Making teaching aids for classes according to their own ideas and according to the suggestions of other teachers;
- Helping to improve kindergarten’s aesthetics by making decorations for special occasions and decorating rooms and corridors independently and together with staff;
- Proposing, organizing activities promoting the project and its results (keep a wall newspaper about ESC in the kindergarten hall with pictures, news about workshops etc./ organizing workshops presenting your culture for parents,
writing blog, reports, doing picture documentation);
- Supporting the organization of events aimed at promoting and disseminating project results (e.g family picnics, festivals, workshops, fairs)
