Resumo: (environment)
The hosting organization is an international Start Up at the intersection of ecology, education and IT. We believe that a deep and playful connection with nature reduces consumption and strengthens respect for Mother Earth. We are experts in outdoor education based on academic and pedagogical knowlege and skills which were acquired during past training experience and work experience in nature education. With this we were able to generate our own outdoor learning tools and improve them during the past years. Further we use information technology as a tool for social and environmental good.

Our main target group are children aged 3-12 for which the majority of our activities are designed and facilitated. In addition, we offer some programs for families and the wider community. We operate as a benevolent non-profit organization and provide playful and purposeful access to nature in particular to children from economically disadvantaged and/or migration backgrounds.

Our regular activities focus on different Learning Paths like Botany, Craftsmanship or Nature & Art which directly and indirectly teach about environmental impact and awareness.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We expect from all candidates an affection for nature and children. Candidates should have a growth mindset and digital literacy. We request strong English language command both written and spoken.
German is an advantage but not required. We do not request any training or certificates from the volunteer in the field of nature education.
ESC participants with related interests are moreover invited to assist in all areas of operation like e.g. game design, online marketing (social media, event promotion) or accounting.

Tarefas: Outdoor activites:
- supporting nature guides, mapping old trees
- possibly leading outdoor activities (once you have completed the nature guide training) - assisting in the design of new activities.

Office activities:
- designing flyers
- social media management
- translating English teaching material
- designing and proofreading species & concept ID cards
- designing offline games

Condições: Volunteers will receive a public transport ticket which enables them to travel within the municipality.
They will be reimbursed for all travels beyond the municipality borders connected to the projects.
Accommodation with kitchen and kitchen utensils, beddings, towels, and internet will be arranged in student dorms or shared apartments.
If necessary, mobile phones with local SIM cards will be provided to communicate with team members.
The volunteers will receive monthly food and pocket money as defined by ESC standards.
