Resumo: The coordinating organization is an NGO initiated in June 2017. The coordinating organization is managed by a single tier board, chaired by a President and headquartered in Romania. The coordinating organization involves 15+ young people and adults, including managers, researchers, trainers, youth workers, admin staff and technicians.
SCOPE OF WORK
We improve the socio-economic conditions and all aspects of the quality of life through education, research and consulting to address societal challenges. We produce and transfer knowhow through cooperation with domestic and international social, academic and business partners.
We are active in youth work by promoting youth mobility, voluntarism, diversity, equality, tolerance, involvement, participation, engagement and empowerment and by helping youth to gain additional knowledge, attitudes, transversal competences and skills.
Perfil: We assemble a team of 4 volunteers from EU with complementary skills in training, pedagogy, journalism, marketing and communication to plan, deliver, evaluate and disseminate online and offline educational activities with youth. We are still looking for a volunteer with strong digital communication skills. Profile:
• 18-30
• English
• Digital skills: content management, Social Media, web design, graphic design, video editing
• Work in teams, with initiative and creativity
• Interested in gaining experience in non-formal education and in working with young people
Tarefas: The project AIMS at improving community competences to deal with DISINFORMATION.
The OBJECTIVES are:
1) Develop the competences of youth from Constanta to deal with disinformation
2) Increase the awareness of tools and tactics to fight against disinformation in the community
3) Improve the skills and competencies of 4 EU volunteers to offer high-quality solidarity activities
Target GROUPS:
1) Young people of age 11-22
2) Secondary schools, high schools, universities, other stakeholders
ACTIVITIES: non-formal training and workshops in schools, universities and youth centres is a WIN-WIN-WIN program that brings together volunteers, young people and local communities to respond to the societal challenges. In this concept, everyone wins.
Horário: Volunteers will work 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, two consecutive days off per week.
Condições: Accommodation: You will live in shared bedrooms with apartment common area, shared cooking, washing, laundry and social facilities, free Wi-Fi.
Pocket and Food money: monthly food allowance of 150 Euro to buy food products and cook for yourself and 90 Euro as pocket money.
Local Transport: bus passes.
Travel: The travel costs will be reimbursed according to the distance band.
