Resumo: (After School Activities)
The project After School Activities aims to host ESC volunteers through our partner organizations. It involves 2 long term mobilities across Europe and out of Europe aims to involve young volunteers in the work of our organizations, mainly in youth-related activities in general, and activities with socially disadvanatged youngsters in particular.

Our Ngo has been involved in local and international voluntary projects for several years as we believe that it provides a great opportunity to foster intercultural dialogue and to fight against social exclusion and poverty. This is the reason why we decided to develop a project focusing on volunteering and social inclusion as involving volunteers in the work with socially disadvantaged youth, which can contribute to positive social change in significant ways.
Out Ngo has been implementing Erasmus+ youth exchange projects since 2016, we have experience in sending and receiving volunteers from European countries (Turkey, Greece, Polland, Croatia, Finnland, etc.), as well as from non-Euroepan countries, that is countries of the global (USA, India, Brazil), these projects are implemented by other sources besides Erasmus+. During all these years, we have gained experiences that help us in our work and serve as a basis to support our volunteers.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will have the opportunity to develop actions, workshops for the local community and to be involved in the actual youth projects of our Ngo and in the everyday life and tasks in the office. The two volunteers would work basically in the After School of the Ngo (so they will have the same timetable) and similar activities (out of office activities will be held regularly but will not take significant a working time of the volunteers) The proposed tasks are the following: The volunteers would be involved in the After School Projects, in projects dealing with socially disadvantaged younsters, organization of cultural events, working with youth in After School Program, promotion of European values.

Also he/she will be involved in our youth related projects in which we cooperate with other organisations, like the youth support centre. We have been cooperating with them for years now, and we had our volunteers contributing in their activities. The tasks there are mainly about animation, working with disadvantaged teenagers through non-formal educational methods, leading free time activities, workshops, English classes etc. The volunteers will be also involved in our program for disadvanted yougsters of vocacional schools, which consists of sending them abroad with a short term Erasmus + mobility program to prepare them to have proper practises abroad. Our volunteers will be involved in the preparation of the youngsters for the mobility experince, which includes - between other tasks - the oraganization and the preparation of the participants. They will be involved in working with schools from where youth come and giving presentation about volunteering and ESC, Erasmus+ projects in regular classrooms. These workshops will help the promotion of the values of the project and the concept proposes and ideas of ESC projects.
