Resumo: (hippotherapy)
The hosting organization is a non-profit entity, recognized as a provider of services by the Department of Social Welfare of the Generalitat and accredited as a Service for the Promotion of Autonomy Personnel for Psychosocial habilitation services and Occupational therapy, Early Attention and Cognitive Stimulation.
The Association emerged in 2007 with the aim of offering an inclusive therapeutic and equestrian leisure service for all people with special needs, both physical, mental and sensory, as well as those at risk of social exclusion.
At the organization we carry out therapies with children with functional diversity of speech therapy, physiotherapy and neuropsychology in rooms or on horses, adapted riding and therapeutic riding. During the year school groups also attend to enjoy a day of leisure with horse
The organization has a professional team made up of psychologists, speech therapists and physiotherapists who, together with equestrian monitors, carry out therapy sessions for children. The volunteers carry out an accompaniment and support function in the sessions, each afternoon they can accompany a professional doing different activities with the children and the cabins.

Tarefas: The figure of the volunteer in the organization arises from the importance of covering a place of support and safety in this therapeutic modality that cannot be covered by qualified professionals due to the special characteristics of this intervention.

Therapeutic interventions are led by health, education and horse riding professionals with specific university training.

These professionals need, in order to carry out their work, the collaboration of assistants, volunteers and assistants who contribute to the sessions by carrying out basic support tasks. The work of the volunteer is always carried out under the supervision of a qualified professional.

Among its functions we highlight:

- Provide security during therapeutic sessions
- Carry out auxiliary tasks typical
- Accompaniment in the sessions directed by expert professionals/specialists in the programs of the different modalities (hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, adapted riding)
- Assist in the basic handling of the horses
- Help in the preparation of the horses (brushing, basic hygiene care)
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of work material
- Provide assistance in the transfer of users from the ramp to the horse, under the supervision and direction of the professionals
- Actively collaborate in the assembly of work slopes, games, circuits...
- Respect the basic principles of confidentiality in TSIs
- Ensure compliance with security measures and respect for the basic principles of ethics in the management of IAC horses
- Accompaniment in leisure days assisted with horses for people with functional diversity center
