Resumo: (cultural activities)
The library is a place full of books and creative people. It is a hive of activity and a great place for the local community to meet, learn new things and have the use of many facilities.
The biggest part of our cultural activities are connected with literary meetings and author’s meetings, which aim is to promote reading. The library is also responsible for organizing various types of cultural events: literary escape rooms, city games, exhibitions, a library on the beach, music concerts, children's theatres, language classes and many, many more.
The library is staffed by young, creative people who want to act for the benefit of the local community and the development of culture in Gdynia.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
If your head is full of ideas, you like to take pictures, you areintereseted in culture, literature ,marketing and you love working with people - join us!
We are looking for a volunteer who is interested in dealing with social media and graphic design, organizing cultural events and likes to engage in activities such as art, music or acting.
We welcome people who can handle the basic computer programs, including graphics and / or photos and video equipment. The volunteer should be communicative and open for new experiences, creative and inventive.
It is welcome if the volunteer has basic English language skills and is willing to study Polish, as well as knowledge of usage of graphic programs and basic programs and apps used in social media. It would help a lot in the daily life of a volunteer and would enable him/her to be more involved in life of organization

Tarefas: - creating photo and video reports from events,
- photo processing,
- design and development of graphic materials: leaflets, posters, graphics for social media: fb, instagram, youtube.
- archiving and digitization of documents
- co-creating content (photos, graphics) for social media,
- support in the organization of events: preparation of rooms, setting tables, preparation of technical equipment, hanging exhibitions, etc.
- conducting research on the reading needs of various environments,
- assistance in the administrative work of the library,
- office equipment service (printer, photocopier)
- current economic purchases for the main library and library branches,
- from time to time supporting librarians in everyday activities and administrative tasks (helping with photocopying , scanning, printint, etc)
- volunteer will also have the possibility to realize his/her own ideas and promote their own culture, history and language.
