Resumo: (environment)
The hosting organization is one pilar of a global initiative including a pedagogical farm, a social grocery and nature education in a forest school. The volunteer will contribute to the development of the farm. We are still at the launching period and need to build several of the farm areas. No specific skills are required. Education will be provided on site by Julien our farmer. The volunteer will be responsible of a defined area of the pedagogical garden.

Perfil: We are looking for a 21 to 30's volunteer. We expect from our volunteer that he/she loves children and has a level of sensitivity to work with children. It is important for our volunteer to be an outdoor person with a particular attractivity for farming. In addition, we would like to find a volunteer interested in ecological initiatives and in the development of a pedagogic garden. Working at the farm will be physically demanding and required to be in a good shape. Julien and the Tzama pedagogical team speak French and English.

Tarefas: -follow the cultures,
-harvest, plant, water -propose/organize nature activities on the pedagogical garden with kids
-feed and take care of the animals
-watch the kids during lunch break at the forest school (together with 3 other volunteers)
-maintenance of small machines, warehouse building
-establish connections between the farm and the schools and make sure pedagogical activities are happening in a safe, educative and fun environment -prepare the vegetables baskets of the social grocery on fridays

Condições: The volunteer will have the opportunity to be accommodated in a shared apartment provided by our association partner Tambour battant in the city center, 30min by train from the work place. A monthly train card and a bicycle will be provided. For food needs, a monthly allowance will be given to the volunteer. This is in addition to the monthly pocket money. Three other volunteers from Tzama will be accommodated in the shared apartment.
