Resumo: (Creativity & Culture)
The hosting organization is a non-profitable organization that defends and promotes world music, and most particularly those that are linked with acoustic, traditional, popular, folk, classical and jazz music. It focuses mainly on three axes:
• The organization of hundreds of concerts and two festivals per year
• An offer of more than fifty courses of traditional world music through the Academy
• The management and booking of musicians and CD productions through the label

Perfil: Age: 18-30
● Background in sociocultural sector, in interpersonal cultural mediation, cultural management or communications management
● Interested in music
● Motivated, proactive, social and flexible
● Oral & written comprehension of French or Dutch
● Knowledge of English would be an advantage

All participants will be hosted in a host family or at the work place, depending on the project. Only volunteers who are truly motivated to live in a host family should apply for this project! Please do know that our host families are not necessarily living near the project. Be aware that you might have the travel time from your home to your project might take a while. Especially, when your project is situated in a large city, it’s very likely that you will be hosted in the suburbs and not in the city centre.

Tarefas: The volunteer will be dealing with all aspects of production, in collaboration with the coordinator. She/he will be entrusted with different tasks:
• PRODUCTION: coordination of volunteers and the team (office and technicians), concert and festival organization & logistics (schedules, transfers, hotel booking, catering and technical aspects), presence during events
• COMMUNICATION & DISTRIBUTION: promotion of events, online agendas, dissemination of the program through different medias

Horário: Approx. 38 hours/week
Weekend- and evening work are frequent
