Resumo: About the project.

Our objectives and our estimated yearly activity targets:
Objective 1: The goal is to promote social inclusion, solidarity and tolerance among youngsters and their active participation in democratic life processes.

Objective 2: The goal is to promote the society where all young people are ecologically active, educated and able to change their lives to a better direction.

Objective 3: The goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle among youngsters by achieving their better mental well-being.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The hosting organization is looking for a who is interested in the target group (children/youth) in the development of activities in animation ( culture, art, expression, sport activities, leisure time activities and youth projects.
As we work with children from poor/ disadvantaged families and anti-social families too, volunteers should be open minded and able to face difficulties in the work.

Condições: Accommodation: Volunteer will live together with another volunteers in the flat where are three rooms, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. There will be necessary equipment in the kitchen (dishes, cutlery), washing machine, fridge. Accommodation is paid from the project’s budget.

Local transport: as volunteer will live in the centre of the city and close to the working place, it is not necessary to use local transport.

Language support: Volunteer will have a possibility to learn Latvian language.
Equipment (phone, Internet etc.): Volunteer will have the internet access every working day in centre also at home.

Travel arrangements: The volunteer is responsible to get the ticket and provide invoice.
After volunteer will arrive in Latvia, he needs to hand in the ticket of the flight and boarding passes to the project coordinator. The 360 EUR will be returned to the volunteer (both sides).

Pocket money: 120 euro per month (in the beginning of every month, not later than date 10).

Food: Volunteer will have the food money every month (130 euro per month), volunteer obligatory need to give all bills for bought groceries.
