Resumo: The coordinating organization is the coordinating organisation for 7 different projects for European Solidary Corps.

Our aims are:
- To promote social integration, equality and solidarity between young people through social, artistic, environmental, cultural, of community-based integration and/or sporting projects, at local, national or international level
- To encourage participation of Ebro regions' young people with the main objectives of promoting tolerance, intercultural and social awareness.
- To educate citizens to be socially active and aware of socialneeds.
- To dynamize rural areas.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
- Given the variety of tasks involved, we are looking for volunteers who are prepared to do whatever is needed and someone who likes to work with young people and children and organizing workshops.
- A positive, open and collaborative attitude is much more important than a high educational level.
- It is important that the volunteer knows (or wants to learn) how to interact with people from different cultures and social backgrounds and someone who love working with children.
- A minimum level of Spanish and/or Catalan will be necessary and any additional languages very useful and like to learn Catalan. It is important that the volunteer starts learning before arrival.
- During the selection process and depending on the profile of the volunteer his/her future tasks will be further defined.
- Like to live in quiet area (Tortosa is not Barcelona).
- Creative, independent, friendly and open minded.

Tarefas: The main purpose of the volunteers will be attending young people needs. They will give their support in the actions and planned projects for young people in the field of education of the values of coexistence, tolerance and solidarity. The volunteers will offer their support and help in various activities required, but they may also develop their capacity of initiative in the projects that they may develop.

More concretely,

- Administrative tasks: assist in writing letters and mailing; making up posters and flyers for the activities; registration control of the activities; planning activities at the Espai Jove; attending telephone calls; attending young people coming to the Edifici Jove; social media management.

- Events organisation: assist in tasks related to organizing and implementing indoor and outdoor activities as a part of the Edifici Jove team (for example, Festa de les Entitats Socials, EbreMusik festival and others)

- Espai Jove: work with young people and develop different workshops and activities at the Espai Jove; dinamize activities for young people.

Horário: The working hours are maximum 30-35 hours per week (including Catalan lessons). Working during the weekends and in the evenings is a possibility as far as the hosting give two days free in a row. The volunteer will receive 2 days off per month. Days off of the volunteer are taken at the same time of the organization holidays

Condições: Food and Accommodation
The volunteer will receive food + basket of fresh vegetables each week. Facilities are shared with other volunteers participating in the project. Volunteers will share room. There is wifi connection available in the house.


Pocket money
The volunteer will receive a pocket money of 5 € per day at the end of each month in cash.
