Resumo: The Association was founded in 2016, by a group of historians, chroniclers and ecologists, in order to protect and promote the archaeological, historical, cultural and environmental heritage of rural areas. With our projects we want to recover our cultural heritage, traditions and the environment. We also want to educate and encourage children and adults to allow them to do the same.
The activities are carried out in various facilities distributed throughout the area, Office, Nature Classroom, Youth Center, Museum, Cultural Center Rooms. The distances between them are very short and you can walk from one to another

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: In 2022 our main projects are: the Nature Classroom, where the Solidarity Garden is located, pruning, recycling and conditioning and recovery of local roads and trails, Local Museum and Youth Center and Library. Different activities are carried out in these spaces, workshops for children and adults on recycling, nature and ecology, seed conservation, olive culture (olive harvesting and artisanal oil production), digitization of old documents and photographs, management of the Youth Center and Library, (organizing workshops and activities for young people), etc. The Cultural Center houses the Library, the Youth Center, the Gymnasium and also the offices.
During the project we are going to start an online podcast and video channel of the town, in order to be able to spread the word regarding everything that is being done here.

Our objective is that the youth and adults of the area participate together with the volunteers, so that they share opinions, stories and develop both informative and thematic programs.

Another very important part of our work is the dissemination of the activities we carry out on our social networks. All the events that will take place; exhibitions, talks, workshops, etc., in the Museum, Nature Classroom, Cultural Center and activities and events of the population, must be disseminated through the RSS. of the Association, the City Council and other entities.

Activities planned during the project:
-Organic garden. Traditional planting and garden care
-Healthy and sustainable food. Gastronomy workshops-Recycling and ecology (Workshops).
-Cleaning and conditioning of paths and trails, pruning and shredding.
Creation of a flower and tree nursery to beautify and improve the public spaces.
-Audiovisual and RSS. Creation of YouTube channel , Podcast and videos.
-Exhibitions and Cultural events
-Traditional Workshops (Popular Festivals, Halloween , Carnival, Christmas Festival, Three Kings, Major Festivals, etc.)

Horário: The project is 35h/week. Five days a week.
Depending on the activities, your schedule may be from Monday to Friday / Saturday and Sunday off *, or from Tuesday to Saturday / Sunday and Monday free * .
* Unless there is an event that requires your presence. In this case, you will be notified in advance and the day off will be changed for another during the week.
Vacations: Two days per month worked. (The planned dates are specified according to project duration and activities).

Hours:
The days are 7 hours in total, during the first three months within 7 hours you have one hour a day for language training, OLS, workshops, tutorials, etc.
Depending on the seasons of the year, the activities start at 8:30 or 9:30 a.m. ( the schedule will be attached to each volunteer)

* The start and end time of the activity may vary due to weather conditions and due to some special event, but it must be strictly adhered to.
