Resumo: (Children and young people)
The project is a long-term voluntary service. It is intended to give young people the opportunity to become positive change makers in their society and to experience how beneficial mutual solidarity, inclusion and appreciation is. We want to create space in which the volunteers can discover and develop their own skills. In this project, the volunteers have the opportunity to tackle challenges in an international environment and to work with people of all walks of life.

The effects of this project will be that the volunteers involved are more open minded and able to work in a team, have improved their language skills and have learned a lot about the forms of youth work. Through the use of creative methods such as circus education and multimedia and through the experience in implementing these two main projects, the volunteers have gained innovative ways in which participation and community can be inclusive, low-threshold and appreciative. The aim is for the volunteers to take the methods they have learned with them to their European countries and to try them out there (adapted if necessary).

During the project, the volunteers also have many opportunities to think about their professional goals and to reflect on and substantiate these with reference to their experiences in the project.

Perfil: - In the age of 18-25
- With car license B
- Experience in working with kids and children
- With a registration on the ESC platform and a PRN (personal reference number)
- With interests in circus pedagogic and a special multimedia project
- With Christian belief or at least a strong interest in the Christian belief

Tarefas: The volunteer will take active parts in different projects for children and youngsters with the aim of increasing social awareness and make solidarity to become an exciting part of society. The volunteers will be an active member of the staff team in our organisation, and they will get to know the different aspects of (christian) youth work. A special experience will be the participation in the two innovative and creative projects in the voluntary service.The voluntary service includes also organisational tasks in the office, creating invitations and writing articles.

Being from different parts of Europe the volunteers will – even with their own background, experiences and abilities – help shape creative processes with children, youngsters and local volunteers using innovative methods, such as for instance circus pedagogic or multimedia, guiding tours in the ZEITREISE-Exhibition, or different games and music.
