Resumo: We are looking for one youngster (at least 18 years) for two places:
The first place is a very particular circus. We create unique performances with kids and youngsters, doesn’t matter if
handicapped or not handicapped.
The circus existing since 1992, is an integrative offer of education and leisure time activities. That means: children and youngsters from different social background, with and without disabilities can learn together juggling, acrobatics, monocycling and other circus skills. The circus is a particular culture offer in the region. A lot of spectators visit every year the gala performances.

The second place, is part of the youth office . We are organizing with and for young people from 13 to 27
years seminars, media projects and international youth projects with partners all over Europe.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: In the first place we work with talents, not with deficiencies of the kids and youngsters. Every week there meet 5 groups instructed by social pedagogues, artists and educators. This offer for free time, education and adventure for mental, physical, psychic and not handicapped people is active participation of them.
Every person, maybe thick or thin, maybe handicapped or not, has talents, which will be fostered in the frame of the circus.
The great variety of possibilities the circus offers gives the chance to every single person to learn the stunt or trick which fits to him and which can be developed by the support of the circus team. Every single person contributes to the big common performance. Self confidence and pleasure to move are increasing and obstacles get reduced, new friendships arise.

In the second place:
Centre for non formal education and youth groups Youth groups can book rooms for activities in the youth house, e.g. for dancing groups, drama groups, meetings of the Stadtschülerrat (city's pupils council), homework aid, etc.
There is also a Café for the visitors and staff.

Offers of non formal education
Experience Parcours Living without Violence
In five interactive parts we support youngsters to develop ideas how to react in troublesome situations, without using violence. Topics are domestic violence, public violence, sexual violence, alcohol and bullying. The interactive parcours Living without Violence can only be booked by groups. One run takes about two hours.

Seminaries for youth groups and school classes
The organization offers seminars on bullying (preventive!), cooperation, social and intercultural learning as well as global learning for youth groups and school classes.

Media projects
The organization produces radio broadcasts and films with young people on topics of their choice. We offer seminars on media competences for young people.

International youth projects
The organization organizes multiple international youth projects annually in northern Hesse and in
other European countries.
The methods we use in our international youth exchanges are acting, dancing, filming, discussion, visits and talks, facilitate and evaluate the own experiences, cooperation exercises, self organization of free time, circus, singing, arts, sports, media, preparation and evaluation.
We work on different topical arguments youngsters are interested in. We organize international projects for all youngsters, that means also projects for groups of handicapped and not handicapped youngsters or other young people with fewer opportunities from 13 – 27 years.
