A project with great environmental value for the region, as it maintains and evolves the collection, planting & breeding using old, traditional varieties or varieties that tend to disappear.

- Heirloom Seed Conservation - more than 350+ endangered heirlomm seeds
- Seed Keepers Alliance - a voluntary traditional seedkeeping network of 243 members
- Annual Seed Exchange Festival - seed exchagning events and workshops
- Partnerships with national and international SeedKeepers & SeedBank initiatives
- Seed Sovereignty Movement - cultivating solidarity & communication among regional grass-roots community seed

- Seed Stewardship Mentorship training - educational SeedBanks at school communities and institutions

Maintaing and expanding seedkeeper networking for future generations becomes an essential strategy for an ethical, fair and sustainble eco community.
The premium goal for the following years is establishing more seedbanks in school communities.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: - Planting seed plants from a big variety of heirloom seeds and monitor their growth
- Creating and maintaining natural seasonable & botanical gardens at the farm, experimenting with in situ and ex situ seed conservation methods
- Keeping a digital diary of the whole planting and breeding process, creating and categorizing seedbank photo albums
- Promoting, creating and organising awareness campaigns on the Seed Bank and the Local Seed Exchange Fest
- Co-organising and co-facilitating the environmental educational programmes of educational seed banks at school communities
- Actively participating in the development and expansion of the SeedKeepers Alliance network
- Monitor the seed germination percentage
- Check the set of acceptable standards for international seed banks
