Resumo: (special education)
Students from 7 to 21 years old with intellectual and complex disorders study at special school. Specialists work with students: remedial physical education teachers, special pedagogues, speech therapists. The school ensures extracurricular employment for students, during which students can choose non-formal education activities. Non-formal education activities for children help to develop students' artistic, social, educational and professional competences and to deepen and shape social and life skills. The aim of the school is to create suitable conditions for socialization in society for students with various developmental disorders and complex disabilities.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
There are no specific requirements for the volunteers: generally they must be self-motivated, willing to take new challenges and be open to work with disabled children, different background and culture people, dynamic, versatile,
good- mood, flexible, with self-initiative.

Tarefas: To be assistant for the children, that means any help that is needed during lessons, as well as assist the children in
any other leisure or outdoor activities. During the first months of volunteering the volunteer will observe the working of different classes, will have the possibility to meet and to be with the children of different age.

Condições: Travel: ESC program will cover your plane/train/bus tickets to Lithuania. Just don't forget to save all your tickets!

Accommodation: You will live in a flat with other ESC volunteers. You will have your own room (with bed, table, chair
and cupboard). In your flat you will share kitchen, bathroom, hall.

Transport: We will buy you monthly local transport ticket in the city.

Language support: You will learn Lithuanian language by online course.

Money support:Every month you will receive your pocket money 4 EUR/PER DAY and your food money (110 Euros).
