Resumo: The Brandenburgische Sportjugend (BSJ, Sports Youth Brandenburg) is an independent working youth organisation in the ''Sports Confederation Brandenburg'' (LSB, Landessportbund Brandenburg e.V.). Its members are children and teenagers, as well as, their youth representatives who are organized in more than 2.500 sporting-clubs. It counts more than 135 000 members under the age of 27. Therefore, it is the largest youth association in the state of Brandenburg. The Brandenburgische Sportjugend is of public utility and recognized as an independent supporter of the 'freie Jugendhilfe' (helping-service for young people). The organisation stands up for the co-operation and co-determination of young people in sporting-clubs and associations and acts as a representative of their interests. The work of the Brandenburgische Sportjugend is guided by the aim to make as many children and teenagers as possible find their way into the sporting-clubs. It is not only the aspect of fun that comes up, furthermore, the youth is supposed to have a place where they can spend their spare time in a sensible way. Within a close co-operation with other supporters of the ''Jugendhilfe'', for example the ''Landesjugendring Brandenburg'', and with the support of politics and commerce, the organization contributes to designing the society and provides assistance on social and youth political problems. The organisation offers numerous projects regarding sport, youth-work and social youth-work.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The activities and tasks that the volunteer will carry out during the whole duration of her/his project are aimed towards his/her integration in the organisation TSV Falkensee e.V. by supporting the co-workers in their daily activities in 4 main working fields:

1. Engagement in the educational activities of the TSV Falkensee e.V.´s youngster groug:
The volunteer will support the team to organize and plan events, trips and workhops for and with the youngster team of the organisation. This include communicating with young people, helping with funding requests, advertising the various activities, attracting participants, designing advertising materials (e.g. social media posts, flyers, written invitations etc.)

2. Support during the sports programme offers for the community: The volunteer will help to plan sports courses in different sport departments, support the trainers through the preparation of different classes, look after the participants and motivate them.
3. Support the sports-related projects in the sports oriented childcare institutions:
Through his/her daily work the volunteer will be integrated in the "on the move and health orientated" program of the kindergarten. The volunteer will support the staff during the sport activities in the kindergarten, preparing games and sports activities for the occupation of children. This will help the children to gain awareness of the importance and advantages of a movement-oriented lifestyle. The main aim is the maximization of children’s sports activities in their daily life. In addition, the volunteers should communicate to the children that doing sports and being active is fun. At the same time, this approach should lead the children to a better consciousness for health.
4. Daily work: The volunteer will be assisting the daily work of the TSV-team, which means sorting out documents and emails, answering to emails, helping with office management, communicating with members etc.

Furhtermore the volunteer will have the opportunity (upon agreement with the Host organisation) to prepare his/her own projects, e.g. about himself/herself, his/her own country, culture, traditions, language and food. The volunteer can bring in own songs, dances and games. The volunteer can also propose new ideas, activities and workshops for the kindergarten and discuss the possibility of organising them as his/her own project.
