Resumo: The hosting organization is a youth organization in the public interest that strives for positive social change and personal growth of young people. With the help of non-formal education it encourages young people to social participation and activation of their peers. Young people in the organization are spending their free time in a healthy way. They are raising awareness among other young people about actual topics and stimulating their critical thinking. The organization promotes and advocates through various projects for sustainable development, healthy lifestyle and active citizenship of young people. The organization is an apolitical and a non-profit organization that operates independently from private financiers. It operates in accordance with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals

Perfil: Volunteers should be aged 19 to 29 years and have basic knowledge in the field of health and well-being and basic experience with youth work, regardless of their ethnic, religious, sexual and political orientation and without requirements for a certain level of education.
We expect a good knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of video and graphic editing is an advantage. Priority is given to the experience of volunteers and their openness to learning new things and also their values and their alignment with our values (health, critical thinking, environment, active citizenship etc.).

Tarefas: The goal of their work will be working especially on the 3rd SDG (Good Health and Well-being) with different activities for young people, such as online webinars, summer camp, working weekends etc. and with them prepare an international campaign on SDG Objective 3.
The volunteers will also be working on expansion of communication channels within Youth Network in collaboration with young members of our organization.

Other goals of their work will be:
● Strengthening of competencies and abilities in the field of health and well-being of members in the organization.
● Assisting in the organization of our regular annual campaigns and initiatives.
● Issuing a publication for youth workers for disseminating the project.
● Organize a small event in Slovenia for Slovenian youth organizations, where the publication will be presented.

Condições: Together with the volunteers we will find accommodation and help them to communicate with landlords. We will also help them find the best transport options. We will provide them with the possibility of healthy meals or food allowances and pocket money, as set out in the rules of the European Solidarity Corps.
We will offer support in editing official documents and various applications, including arranging Urbana for the use of LPP and bicycle sharing. In addition, we will show them the city and all important locations and routes (shops, health center, post office, etc.).
