Resumo: The Foundation carries out activities related to charities, volunteer work and work in aid of the community.

The Foundation focuses on three areas:

· volunteer work & informal learning

· special education

· local community

and works on social entrepreneurship to support the three focus areas.

The Foundation works with a group of professionals and volunteers who organize and coordinate international volunteer activities and develop educational programs. One of the structural activities is facilitating volunteer work, for a great variety of organizations.

The foundation offers volunteer work abroad for young people between 18 and 30 years old as part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program. The program lasts between 2 and 12 months and offers fulltime volunteer activities, a language course, an additional health insurance and training programs. Food allowance and accommodation are covered.

In order to do international volunteer work, you need to meet certain criteria:
-All ESC volunteer projects need at least three partners: a hosting organization, a supporting (sending) organization and a volunteer.
-You need an English CV and motivation letter to apply for a project. The motivation letter is used to explain why you would like to participate in the project.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We look for volunteers who have a proven interest in the social sector, who are interested in working with people with limitations. An educational background in the social field, could be an advantage but is not a requirement. The willingness to learn the Dutch language, before arrival is a big bonus, since communication is important in the social sector. Volunteers who want to pursue a career in the Netherlands in this working field are especially requested to apply, the project can be the starting point for a career in the social sector in the Netherlands.

Tarefas: different types of social work, mostly targeted at supporting people with different types of limitations.

Condições: There are two locations where volunteers live. There is a big house where up to 8 volunteers can live and there is a small apartment where 4 volunteers can live. Volunteers cannot choose for one location: the hosting organisation makes that selection. Each volunteer has a bedroom and shares kitchen and bathroom. Volunteers will sign a contract for a lease bicycle that they use to get around.
Volunteers receive food allowance and pocket money (€ 340 in total). Internet is paid by the volunteers.
