Resumo: The hosting organization seeks to build an inclusive community for each family and for each member separately, children, young people and adults. In this sense, the organization's mission is to build and implement projects through the voluntary involvement, driven by values such as togetherness, solidarity, empathy. Currently, the organization is running specific projects for children, young people and parents.

For children, we manage an after-school day center dedicated to children between the ages of 6 and 15, a center that we run for 8 years. Here, through donations and exclusive involvement of the people in the community, we manage to offer lunch five times a week for 40 children. In addition to supporting school integration, each child has a team of mentors and volunteers who support him in his personal development, focusing on social and emotional skills. In 2018-2019, 55 volunteers and 5 mentors were involved in this program and their retention in the program was 96%. This project is called Each One Teach One, because we empower community members, especially young people, to become part of the solution for children at risk. Also, monthly for children that are in the state protection system, from 3 placement centers in the region we have a campus day, where we offer them for a day, recreational activities and learning activitties.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
What we want from you is motivation, will and determination to participate in the project. We would love that this project helps you grow personally and why not professionally and we want to contribute to this personal development. We are also looking for people who want to contribute to the society and the community they live in.
If you are between 18 and 30 years old, willing to learn about Romanian culture and language, eager to contribute to the community and grow personally with other awesome people, maybe this is for you.

Tarefas: The aim of the project is to create and develop a context that empowers young people and the community to provide educational, social and emotional support for children at risk, while inviting young people to personal and professional development, with the support of adult youth workers and mentors.
And at the same time to disseminate to the community the role and contribution of solidarity and volunteering for an inclusive community. Basically, you, supported by the team and mentors, will be involved in working with children at risk, by organizing and implement workshops for developing social and emotional skills and also you will become advocacy agent of volunteering and solidarity in helping 15 children at risk and also to disseminate / promote to the community the impact and contribution of volunteering and solidarity in development young people and to make a community as inclusive as possible.

Condições: A house will be provided for volunteers. Each person will have individual rooms and they will share the bathroom and kitchen. The house has 2 living rooms and a yard that will be common space for the volunteers. We will provide 2 meals a day during working days, and for the rest of the days, the volunteers will receive an allowance + the pocket money that is 3eur/day. Travel tickets and visa costs are fully covered.
