The coordinating organization main goal is to develop social, cultural, educational, sports and youth projects in remote regions of Lithuania and beyond. The team's experience has been gained through the development and implementation of projects of local, national and international importance such as youth initiatives, international exchanges, democracy projects and strategic partnerships. The success we have achieved is based on cooperative relationships and trust in our partners and the search for new relationships. In addition to strengthening links between organizations in neighboring countries, our projects are developing examples of good and friendly communication between organizations located in different countries of the European Union and beyond. We are able to work with schools, colleges, universities, non-governmental youth organizations and foreign embassies to raise the common level of culture and awareness among young people and in various local communities.

Perfil: • are 18 to 30 years old
• have not done European Voluntary Service/ European Solidarity Corps before
• are not apperaring in a criminal record (the relevant document should sent to us after the recruitment, not now)

- Has the ability to work without supervision
- responsible;
- creative and well-organized;
- Has the ability to provide basic support to customers using the public access computers.
- Open to work in teams and to fulfill manual tasks connected with renovation.;
- Willing to design activities and be part of library community.

Volunteer is not obligated to have special qualifications to work with children/youngster, but experience in that field will be essential. The volunteer should be ready to work in a bigger group of children/youngsters for longer period of time, have an ability to establish positive relationships with them.

Tarefas: This role involves providing help with Library stock, mainly putting returned items back on the shelves in the correct order, so that they can be borrowed again.
There will be opportunities to plan, prepare and deliver activities in your base library by establishing a regular event you run yourself. This will include events aimed at child, family and adult audiences.
You will work alongside other volunteers in this role. As a volunteer role, you will also be ideally placed to promote volunteering opportunities within the library service

Condições: - Monthly allowance = pocket money: 240 euro/month
- Travel tickets from the city where your Sending Organisation is placed to Vilnius (We will pick you from
there) and back (up to the amountbased on Distance Calculator of Erasmus+, the excess of this amount will be payed by volunteer)

- Travel costs for on-arrival and mid- term trainings in Lithuania
