Resumo: (youth)
This international volunteering project of the University. It is managed by the Service of Attention to Diversity and Volunteering (ADyV), which establishes a bridge between the university community and the problems of the society in which it is located. ADyV works for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the university, manages programs of solidarity, social actions and coordinates the participation of students in volunteering activities
from a large wide range of entities in the Region.
With the incorporation of international volunteers through the project YouAreThe+, it aims to address the problems of different communities in the Region through direct action on people and their individual needs, accompanying them in their life situations and offering them a better quality of life. At the same time, the entities through which they act benefit from voluntary people with a stable commitment and with ample dedication, who also contribute a different culture of management and volunteering.
Thus the international volunteers give an extra value to all these communities and entities, and also to the entire community of the University. In other words, they are the plus.
