Resumo: The beginnings of the the Association go back to 2001. From the youth information office we came up with the idea of an association that today runs permanent programs and constantly implements new projects.
We founded the association because we want to actively participate in the development of our region and give others a chance to join us in creating unusual everyday life. Being socially active means having an impact not only on your own life, but also on the lives of your neighbors, on what our common future will be like.
The association is people, a common idea of working with and for young people, projects and activities that we carry out with you and for you. By participating in such activities, we contribute to the development of our community, and thus also to the development of the whole of Europe and the world. Our work is a challenge, passion and a way to implement our ideals.
The association bases its activity on the voluntary work of its members and associates. Our activities are co-financed by Polish and international foundations and organizations. We implement many interesting projects aimed at youth, rural schools and kindergartens.
Everyone will find a niche for themselves. The main goal of the association is to SUPPORT rural youth and those at risk of social exclusion, with limited development and education opportunities. We also strive to establish a permanent, international exchange of experiences and dialogue between partners from Poland and abroad, as well as to cultural rapprochement between national minorities in our country. We popularize tourism and sightseeing.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Volunteers should be interested in ecological topics and ecological lifestyle. Volunteers should like to work with kids and youngsters, be creative and independent. Volunteers should be ready to live in countryside,in smal community with simple life conditions (making fire in oven etc) Some skills and knowledges in IT, video making and graphic design would be helpful.
Tarefas: The association is searching for active and creative volunteers to support our local activities. We offer following tasks:
- organizing/or supporting events in our local community particularly for kids, youngsters and other volunteers;
- leading activities for kids and teenagers from ukrainian refugees
- supporting office work (like creating PR materials (videos, photos, flyers), updating the websides, edition of newsletter, creation of posters and information sheets etc.);
- organization of outdoor activities for children (in summer camps, forest activities or on playground, animation of cultural weeks during holidays);
- Conducting workshops on ecological topics in school, kindergarten and therapy center for disabled people.We plan activities promoting reducing waste, awarness of ecological foodprint in every day life, theatre performances etc.
Condições: Volunteers will live in rented by us flat, each volunteer has separate room and can use shared bathroom and kitchen. For local transportation we offer bikes.
