Resumo: (Environment)
The organisation, based in the rural commune, was created in 1983. Its mission is to educate and raise awareness about the environment and sustainable development (EEDD) and to preserve the bocage, wetland and coastal environments.
The association's project is organised around 3 axes: raising awareness and preserving terrestrial environments, coastal environments and mobilising around the issues of sustainable development. They respond to European issues through the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition, there are two cross-cutting themes: the fight against climate change and international mobility.
This international dimension appeared more than 15 years ago, first through international exchanges, then through voluntary work (EVS and then ESC). Today, it is present in all the fields of action of the association, which wishes to associate the environment with international cooperation: we wish to encourage young people in their awareness of European citizenship and eco-responsibility.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
It can be for you if : You truly care about Nature and want to ba a part of its preservation You're creative, want to try and imagine new things You like to talk to people, to facilitate You want to share your culture and discover others Don't worry, no need to be fluent in french ! But a basic english will be necessary for the beginning to understand each other and make your start of the volunteering easier on you. You'll need to be physically fit in order to go on the field, facilitate etc...

Tarefas: The volunteer will participate in the organisation’s activities : environmental education and sustainable development. He/she/they will discover the nature in Normandy and the management of natural reserve areas like the seaside.
The missions are to : sensitize to Environment, Climate change and eco-citizenship, raise awareness about international mobility and interculturality, promote the ECS.
Your personal mission will be focused on rejuvenate the association's local volunteers (ex : Create events and activities, meet with locals, Help and put your touch to our 40th anniversery in 2023 etc...)

Condições: The volunteer will receive the money for the food and cook in the kitchen of the flat, 10 euros per day for food and 6 euros per day as pocket money. You will in a little studio, in a lodge on a farm. The bus stop that can lead you to the organisation is 5mn walking from the farm. The housing has all the regular facilities (burners, fridge, microwave, washing machine near by) Only limited wifi at the lodge, but unlimited at the organisation. Phone coverage is very low at the lodge.
