Resumo: (Children and youth)
The hosting organization is a nonprofit children’s and youth organization. As an independent youth foundation, the foundation organizes different activities and summer camps for children and young people between the ages of 6 and 20, non-formal education and workshops, as well as intercultural encounters and projects for young people and young adults between 15 and 30 years of age.
One focus of our work is participation and personal development.
Our activities are also offered to children and young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds and to young people with a migration background. In all school holidays in Germany we provide camps for children and youngsters in Germany and several European countries, such as France, Spain, Croatia, England and a lot more.

Perfil:  At least 18 years old
 Driver’s license (preferred)
 Good knowledge of English (understanding, speaking, writing, reading)
 Basic knowledge of German
 Previous experience (also as a volunteer) with kids
 You have an accredited sending organization (PIC number, accreditation number, name and contacts of sending organization)

Tarefas: You will be involved in the everyday work at the office and in planning and organizing its activities. You will have the possibility to use the computer sometimes, but also to help with practical organizational tasks such as preparing the material for the camps, planning the activities, setting the spaces and in general being involved in all the „behinf the stage“ organizational process.
You will therefore spend a lot of time on the road and on the field, attending different camps in different locations in Germany, interacting with kids and youngsters of different ages.
You also can participate in and organize events in our intercultural group together with the other European volunteers, such as a Spanish party, a Latvian dinner or hiking in the Black Forest.
Other side activities can also be distributing Flyers, catalogues about our activities in Karlsruhe and surrounding, or leaning kitchen/cleaning and keeping order in office and our storage/youth club.

Condições: The Volunteer will live in a house together with 2 internationals. The house is located in a beautiful town on a hill, and is connected with public transports to the city center through busses and trams, which run every 10 minutes from the town. The volunteer hast he possibility to meet with other 8 European Volunteers.
