Resumo: (Children and young people)
The hosting organization is a non-profit association that aims to develop an open-minded, tolerant and active attitudes, fosters dialogue and critical thinking among young people when facing socio-political issues. The hosting organization’ goals are reached through educational projects with young people with emphasis on teenagers and NEETs, educators in general especially with youth workers and teachers and other stakeholders such as political representatives and private sector agents..

The specific objectives of the hosting organization are:
1. Promote citizen participation among young adolescents and young adults;
2. Develop a conscious and critical attitude with socio - political issues.
3. Develop transversal skills and aptitudes to encourage young people's initiative and entrepreneurship;
4. Promote youth initiative.
5. Contribute to the development of didactic tools related to entrepreneurship and employability, among others.
6. Promote the education of future entrepreneurs.
7. Contribute to the quality of projects related to entrepreneurship by sharing good practices and experiences from previous projects with other organizations.

Our main target group are children between 7 and 12 and young people between 13 and 20 years, although the majority (90%) is under 18. We focus on youth from rural areas of the Tiétar Valley region in central Spain.

Our activities take place in several municipalities of the Tiétar Valley, running JUNIOR, JOVEN and LEADER youth groups and trainings on local level for Young Entrepreneurs in which we offer a personalized training and accompaniment during the creation process of an entrepreneurial idea.

Context:
The hosting organization works in a small town (approximately 6500 inhabitants). The region has basic services (health centre, police station, court, education: primary, secondary, VET schools). Young people, with the exception of those who choose to follow the 3 vocational training options available, have to leave the valley to continue their studies, reason whereby the organization focusses its work on adolescents and those who leave school prematurely.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The project requires open-minded, sociable and easy-going people. We are looking for 2 male and 2 female participants who are cheerful and assertive. The volunteers need to know how to work in a team and to come up with creative ideas. Candidates should be independent and friendly. The candidates also have to be prepared to live in an isolated, small town (around 6500 inhabitants) in a rural area, and should take this into consideration when applying for
the project. Drivers licence is an advantage.

Tarefas: In this project you will work mostly with kids and teenagers from Spanish rural areas. Our association focuses on promoting youth initiative, raising awareness about social issues and making young voices matter, both on local and international level. Volunteers’ tasks:
- Weekly youth group meetings
- on-line and face-to-face (13 - 19 years old)
- Weekly junior groups meetings (8 - 12 years old)
- Weekly English classes with kids (on-line and face-to-face)
- Office work
- Realizing your own (volunteer) initiative
- Preparation of all youth initiatives that may arise during the time of the EVS (debates, camps, flashmob, workshops, etc.)
- Workshops promoting youth mobility and entrepreneurship in local schools
- Solidarity Youth Festival (June 2023)
- Preparation of European projects of the organisation

Condições: Volunteers are going to live in 2 separate flats (2 persons per flat) on the same floor. Each will
have an individual bedroom, and the living room with a kitchen, and a bathroom will be shared. Volunteers will receive pocket money and food money every month. There is no local transportation in the town. It is small, so you can reach any place by foot (30 minutes from one end of the town to the other).
