The hosting organization is a pre-primary, primary and secondary school, promoting students’ wellbeing and inclusion; development of innovation in teaching methods; training of all the school’s personnel; curricular planning; collaboration with families and the local community; governance of the school. The purpose of primary education is to enable pupils to acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills to develop basic cultural competence.
The weekly timetable is organized as follows:
• for pre- primary school: five days from 8.00 am to 16.00 pm;
• for primary school: classes which have 27 hours organized in five days from 8.00 am to 01.30 p.m. and classes which have 40 hours, organized in five days from 8.00 am to 16.00 pm.
• for classes in the secondary cycle: five days from 8.00 am to 14.00 and one afternoon at school with expressive laboratory of Literature

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: As a volunteer, you will have the chance to support the teachers and staff, enriching the daily activities of the students.
You can:
• present your own culture and country
• assist in English lessons and organizing non formal activities
• help with disabled students and difficult students during their daily school activities, such as: homework, physical activities, self-confidence, etc...
• read books and fairy tales with kids
• write postcards in different languades
• rising awareness about cultural heritage and taking part to some excursion
• support in democratic participation project
• help in assisting foreigners kids coming from immigrant families
• take part in sport activities
• take part in health project, correct lifestyle and healthy food

Condições: As a volunteer, you will live in a flat together with 3 other volunteers, in the city close to the school.
The accommodation will be provided in double room with a shared bathroom and kitchen.
The lodging choice will be always decided by the School or the coordinating organization and it is not possible for you to choose your own accommodation.
You will be provided with an allowance of 150 euros to buy your food in addition to your pocket money
