Resumo: The hosting organization was established in 2003 and has as its mission empowerment of citizens by developing a sense of responsibility and taking the initiative for the progress of the entire community.
Our vision is a more humane, democratic environment in which the organization acts as a generator of changes and a stronghold of positive ideas.
Our regular activities include: Civil society organisation capacity development; Democratic citizenship development and promotion of volunteering; Youth 'leisure time' activity organisation; Empowerment of socially vulnerable community members;
Encouraging employment of women and youth, Non formal education and information for youth.

Tarefas: Social event manager

Volunteers will be focused on delivering activities to the most vulnerable groups in our community – elderly and frail people, mentally ill, blind people, socially marginalized members of the community, children and youth while trying to overcome social gaps in a post war and post earthquake community and offer content that aims to connect all community groups.
ESC volunteers will have the possibility to reduce the generational gap between young and the elderly, by organising various workshops for the elderly and frail members of our society. The volunteers will also have the possibility to interact on a regular basis with elderly and frail people by organizing debates, spa days, dance afternoons, book clubs, walks around town, assisting them when visiting cultural content in our community but also propose events and activities that aim to rise the quality of social content in our community. These activities are an
opportunity for volunteers to raise the spirits of residents and lessen the impact of loneliness.

Volunteers will organize different activities for children as civic education workshops at schools (Kindergarten, elementary schools) by using non formal and informal learning methods (specifically puppets as a tool). These workshops will tackle issues such as democracy, tolerance, citizenship in Europe, or prevention. Some of the children and youth related activities will take place in many of the new established housing container villages in our county. You will also work on various campaigns, on raising awareness on human rights, promoting tolerance, multiculturalism, your own culture and languages. Big part of your work will also be promoting the development of careers in civil society and non governmental organizations as well as working on improving the image of civil society in Croatia.

Media and marketing manager
Volunteers on the position Media and marketing will work closely with Social eventmanagers, accompany them on volunteering activities, report about their work, assist them on marketing their activities.
Volunteers on the position of Marketing and media management will focus on delivering different content through on-line methods and media. You will work on various campaigns, on raising awareness on human rights, promoting tolerance, multiculturalism, your own culture and languages. Big part of your work will also be promoting the developement of careers in civil society and non govermental organizations as well as working on improving the image of civil society in Croatia.
Marketing and media management volunteers will work closely with Social event managers, accompany them on volunteering activities, report about their work, assist them on marketing their activities. The volunteer will also help in promoting the use of online learning tools for children and teenagers, essential in the reduction of inequalities at school. This will be vital for developing online education opportunities for kids.
