Resumo: (Cultural Mediation & Immigration)
The hosting organization was founded in 2003 by a group of Cultural Mediators, Italian Language teachers and Psychologists, committed for several years to the area of intercultural connections, working for a plan of human promotion and social integration focused on individuals, greatly respecting interchange between cultures.

The purpose of the organzanization is to aim for integration of Italian and foreign families, adults, children and disadvantaged people in general. We are involved in providing social and cultural service with the ultimate goal of eliminating, or at least reduce, the social and cultural differences among the population.

The organization aims at pursuing the general interest of the community by handling educational, social and cultural services answering the needs for insertion and integration of italian and foreign adults, families, children, and also disadvantaged people.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Volunteers, in consideration of their background and learning objectives will be included in different activities of the Cooperativa.
In the Hospitality of asylum seekers Area: volunteers are likely to work in the management of a flat, taking care of different aspects: from daily needs to legal practices necessary to ask for international protection.
Integration paths to asylum seekers: accompanying them to the main service centers to renew documents, medical visits, guidance activities on the territory; training activities aimed at working in the labor-market, at civic education, food education, and health education.
Organization of workshops to be included in the various contexts of intervention or to be implemented ad hoc on the basis of volunteers’ skills.
Communication activities: support for community management on social media, designing presentations and reports with regard to ongoing services.

Condições: The volunteer will live in a shared flat with other international volunteers or local/Italian people, will live in a single or double room upon availability and have the use of a kitchen, bathroom and of the common spaces of the house (wi-fi is not always guaranteed). He/She will monthly receive some money to buy food and pocket money. He/She will have a bus card to move around in the city
