Resumo: (civic involvement)
The hosting organization was founded in February 2010 in order to develop actions and activities in environmental sector for youth and adults. Among the objectives of the organization are: development of funding programs for non-associative structures, promoting and developing educational and training activities, promoting regional and international cooperation and mobility, promoting multicultural education and non-discriminatory among youth. Most of our activities are focused on promoting the principles of sustainable development concept.


The project aims to provide young people a framework for reflection on the importance of social, economic and environmental sustainability in a consistent manner as chapters of sustainable development. By participating in project activities, participants will gain knowledge about the Romanian educational system and local communities from rural Romania. The project promotes active involvement, volunteering and dialogue.

Perfil: Age 18-30. Interested in personal development. Basic knowledge of English.

Tarefas: The project intends to offer a space for international volunteers to create personal development programmes and activities for children from small rural communities. The purpose of the project is to underline the importance of multiculturality, solidarity and inclusion in the development of sustainable communities. Through volunteering and non formal education, the proejct will contribute to building an inclusive and sustainable Europe and will help local communities to discover how volunteering and civic involvement can help the growth of cohesion and solidarity in the target community.

Condições: Accommodation will be arranged in a flat in Baia Mare. Volunteers will receive food allowance and all the transportation for the activities will be organized by Greentin.
