Resumo: (environmental sustainability)
The hosting organization was founded in February 2010 in order to develop actions and activities in environmental sector for youth and adults. Among the objectives of the organization are: development of funding programs for non-associative structures, promoting and developing educational and training activities, promoting regional and international cooperation and mobility, promoting multicultural education and non-discriminatory among youth. Most of our activities are focused on promoting the principles of sustainable development concept.


The project aims to provide young people a framework for reflection on the importance of social, economic and environmental sustainability in a consistent manner as chapters of sustainable development. By participating in project activities, participants will gain knowledge about the Romanian educational system and local communities from rural Romania. The project promotes active involvement, volunteering and dialogue.

Perfil: We are looking for youngsters age 18-30, able to communicate in English, interested in working in the areas of the project.

Tarefas: organize non-formal and volunteering activities for youngsters and adults living in two rural communities from Northern Romania. The projects is looking to identify volunteers interested in developing professional skills in the following areas: education and training, rural/community development, social work/psychology.

Condições: shared apartment with other volunteers. Volunteers will receive food and volunteering allocations according with the rules of the program. Transportation for the project's activities will be provided by the organization.
