Resumo: (work with people with disabilities)
The Association was established in 1979 and since then, during these more than 40 years, has worked for the standardization of people with disabilities. Since its inception, Verdiblanca, aware of the passive spirit that existed in the collective of people with disabilities and their families, as well as the lack of encouragement and interest in training, education and rehabilitation, has worked organizing and developing numerous programs and projects that aim to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, as well as society's awareness of the need to socially integrate them. Global integration that brings together an educational, labor, family, health integration, etc.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Currently at the center there are 51 users with mental, physical and sensory disabilities, over 16 years, the percentage of disability exceeds 33%. Users have breakfast, then do workshops and various pre- work training activities, social and training skills, as well as sports, health and cultural activities, They have lunch in the center and then company them to their home by adapted transport.
-Activities planned to be carried out: In the center, the day begins at 8:00 in the morning. Users start to arrive in the adapted vans and they are distributed in the different workshops where they are going to carry out the daily activities(every users go through the different workshops throughout the week).

European volunteers will begin at 9:00 am with the preparation of the dining room for breakfast together with the monitor and users (people with disabilities) who each day have to set up the dining room as part of a workshop social skills to learn habits of personal and daily autonomy such as setting the table, picking and putting breakfast, bring the dishes, glasses and cutlery to the kitchen, put the dishwasher, clean the tables, etc.)Once the breakfast is served, the instructor in charge of that day of the dining room together with the European Volunteers will attend to the users with mobiity problems in everything they need(serve the milk, prepare the toasts or bakery and give handy breakfast in if necessary, carry toilet, etc). The day will continue for the volunteers from 10:00(after breakfast) until 13:00h with the different workshops for which they will be rotating according to the needs: theater and dance workshop, psychomotricity, training, adapted sport workshop, creative crafts workshops, work habilitation workshop, physiotherapy center attendance, etc. from 13:00 to 14:00 h. will help in the activities of the dining room, since it is lunchtime where the volunteers can eat as well. From 14:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m approximately, they will accompany in adapted transport.

Indicate that volunteers as well as performing activities in this center will also actively participate in the various activities that the Association has and are of a specific nature, such as excursions, cultural activities, cinema and summer days etc.
