Resumo: (Sustainability and creativity)
The hosting organization was born on July 21, 2020.
We are a sustainable textile manufacturing workshop. We provide services to individuals and companies that want to develop their idea with added value.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
The selection of candidacies that have been presented will be carried out in an objective, transparent and inclusive manner. After an initial projection of the CVs sent by the leading entity, we will proceed to a selection that will consist of a careful reading of all the motivation letters and a call or video call, to learn more about the volunteer, their experiences and their interests.
Tarefas: The required hourly commitment of the volunteer will vary between 25 and 38 hours per week (for 4 weeks), and they will mainly have a support role in the activities carried out in the warehouse of our workshop. It is important to emphasize that we will ensure that the volunteer has their personal interests and inclinations supported and that they feel free to raise objections, express doubts or propose improvements at any time.
Based on European principles and values, we will design tasks suitable for volunteer learning, which will mainly have to do with fair trade and circular economy. Fostering curiosity and knowledge that can help lead a more sustainable life, will not only provide participants with additional tools and knowledge in this field (useful in the search for future job or training opportunities), but will also help to sensitize youth about values such as the protection of the environment and the dignity of work
Condições: As for everything related to the issue of accommodation, the leading entity, will be the entity in charge of managing issues related to the well-being of the participants as well as the management of pocket money and transport bonds. However, all the workers of our entity will undertake to guarantee a peaceful, safe and stimulating development of the project, as well as to constantly worry about the well-being of the volunteer.
