Resumo: The hosting organization has been working with children and young people in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion since 2009. Since the beginning, it has worked in the neighborhood with generic programs and employability to this day.

The first project that was launched was a generic project for the social inclusion of young people in a situation or at risk of social exclusion with whom basic and complementary training actions, leisure, accompaniment and comprehensive social care were carried out.

That is why it is necessary to intervene with these young people with an integral methodology, where the main protagonist is the young person, and where the different resources of the area are involved so that the integral intervention is effective.

We have been managing active inclusion programs for four years through the development of individualized itineraries and training actions for young people in Youth Guarantee, accompanying and giving support in the process.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
The candidate volunteers for the project will be young people who show interest in working with children and young people, in formation and social participation, as well as in intercultural awareness. An academic background won't be necessary, since the ESC can represent an important non-formal learning experience. The project does not require specific skills, but mainly the willingness and interest to act socially in favor of the integration of of groups at risk of social exclusion and the construction of an intercultural and democratic society.

Tarefas: We have the opportunity to offer a long-term volunteering project of 7 months. The main activity that the volunteer will develop will be linked to the work that we carry out day by day from the entity. Its main focus is on digital education for young people and young families up to 30 years of age, so that they can develop their key skills for personal, social and economic well-being. It is about teaching them to adapt to the digital environment, to know how to use technological resources for their professional development and to expand their employability options.

Likewise, it is intended to share good practices that seek to ensure the protection of their chidren against the threats of social networks. Offering the opportunity to these young people, who are in a situation of vulnerability and who, due to their ethnic and social origin, are in exclusion or at risk of suffering from it, means they can improve their employability and, therefore, combat their social exclusion,

Condições: As for everything related to the issue of accommodation, the coordinating organization will be the entity in charge of managing issues related to the well-being of the participants as well as the management of pocket money and transport bonds. However, all the workers of our entity will undertake to guarantee a peaceful, safe and stimulating development of the project, as well as to constantly worry about the well-being of the volunteer.
