Resumo: (baseball)
The Baseball Softball Club is a organization that is founded on the values of seriousness and programming, with the aim of creating a family environment through the love for sport. A meeting place for hundreds of boys and girls, who have the opportunity to practice a complete sport such as baseball at a high level of organization and quality. At the present time it has 160 athletes and over 10 coaches divided into 12 teams, starting from minibaseball with children aged 6 to 9, with youth teams under 13, under 15 and under 18 up to the 2 senior softball teams in A2 and baseball in Serie A as well as an amateur team and a baseball team for the blind.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
The choose the of the participants will be done mainly on motivation and interested on the project and activities but in general we will host 2 volunteers one with a profile more related to the activities with childrens and with the blind people baseball team and the other more with a communication , IT skills even if both will be anyway involved in all the activities.
Tarefas: 1) Entertainment activities with children: these activities in the summer period will be linked to the activities of the summer center which takes place in the months from June to August with a large number of children
2) Activities with the blind baseball project: in this context, in addition to supporting the specific activities of the team and organization of the matches and the championship, volunteers will be able to support the presence in events dedicated to the sport of people with disabilities, in this specific case blind and visually impaired.
3) Communication: in this specific sector of activity, volunteers will be able to contribute according to their specific skills by making short videos presenting the various activities of the baseball and softball club, making short radio podcasts with the story of their experience and with interviews and storytelling of the various athletes and coaches, create written materials for posts and blogs also in different languages
