Resumo: (Team volunteer project)
The goal of the project is to promote awareness of the Solidarity Corps through the activities offered to the youth of the district, which will encourage young people to engage in such projects and will activate the local community. The project is initiating cooperation with the the district municipality institutions visited by children, young people and seniors, Multifunctional Youth Initiative Center, Library, Secondary School and Association.
The short-term goal of the project is to offer various activities available to the local community, for children, young people and seniors.

Volunteers will develop and get to know their personality, will learn more about cultural differences and will share
their experience and knowledge during the project. The long-term goal is to establish close cooperation between socially active institutions and organizations united by Solidarity Corps youth from different countries. The implementation of this project will help to develop open societies and acquisition of knowledge about the cultures of different countries, the implementation of this project will help the local community to improve linguistic knowledge and raise awareness of European citizenship.

Aims and objectives:
• To help youngs to learn languages in practical use;
• Make your own initiatives and learn new skills;
• To develop creative summer activity plan for kids and youngsters
• Discover the intercultural richness through non-formal learning methods
• Learn more about other European cultures
• Get to know more about the city, Latvia territory and country
• Be encouraged to come up with your own ideas

Perfil: Age: 18-30
What we are looking for: Volunteers with positive attitude, who can be youth leaders, who can learning activities, who love sport, art, music, outside activities, digital activities, environment, languages etc. If you have already some knowledge about camp activities it would be great. Target for camps will be to help to kids to communicate in English, to learn to express themselves and to learn about different cultures.
it´s mandatory to have covid 19 vaccine.

Tarefas: Volunteers will work with kids and youngsters for day camps and interesting outdoor activities including camping, tracking, workshops. Volunteers will have to plan together in group activities for camp participants, they will have group workshops to get ready camp program and responsibilities and after 5 active camping weeks it will be time for final evaluation and learning more about Latvia country and culture.
Camps will be from Monday – Friday and weekends will be free.

Condições: Accommodation:
Still in process, we will discuss it on interview, but all volunteers will be informed before coming
about living conditions.
Food: it will depend on accommodation, but on camp days lunch will be provided by host organization;
Pocket money: 4 Eur/day (for 2 month it will be 232 EUR);
