Resumo: The hosting organization is a place, where passions are being born and dreams are coming true. Our goal is to create an opportunity for our clients to benefit not only from rich resources of books, magazines and multimedia, but also through offered activity forms ignite the process of self-development and self-realization.
We are ardent propagator of learning throughout entire life. In the area of our action we embrace children, youth, workers, job seekers, and seniors, offering them a diverse schedule of a cultural and educational actions. We promote readership, organize meetings with culture people and creative workshops in many different topic areas. We organize art exhibitions for fine artists, both amateur and professionals, from Poland as well as from abroad.

Thinking about 50 plus age group we are hosting courses on a computer skills, tablet handling, and usage of digital camera. Discussion book clubs are already a tradition, books and English lovers are welcome to join weekly meetings. A lots of our attention goes towards the young readers to engraft them with the love for books and library. For this purpose we conscript special, where we welcome whole families even generational! For our older youngsters apart from a good reading and always kind librarians, space awaits, here we present their creativity and talents. We also put a lots of focus on non-formal education: we undertake actions in which goals are to expand the knowledge, getting practical skills by our users, skills that are being trained manually, experienced and used in activities. We propose a diverse offer of cultural actions, educational and upbringing ideas.
In our library has been established where we conduct programming workshops, and develop passions in the area of new technologies.

There are 3D workshops, animation and graphic design as well as movie making courses. Furthermore we implement a lots of original international projects on the domestic level as well as various events with social themes. Thanks to those actions we influence forming of an openness attitude, full of understanding and tolerance.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We wait strong motivated persons, active and creative having interesting hobbies, talented in the field of art, music, dance, photography, movie-making, handicraft (including sewing machine), DIY etc. We also welcome people with IT skills such as programming, 3d modeling, VR, robotics, film editing etc. They will lead their own workshops, especially for children and youth, but also for adults. If somebody has marketing or graphic designer skills can cooperate with our marketing team. Our volunteers should use English on a communicative level to avoid communication problems.

Tarefas: The Library is a very dynamic place in the city. We recognize and fulfil educational and cultural needs of the local community. Our readers use not only books or magazines, but also take part in a self-development and self-realization processes, through all forms of activities the library offers them. The aim of the project is encouraging initiative, creativity and active participation of youth in cultural life, as well as development of our library.

The project enables and encourages young people to play an active role in local communities, and helps develop solidarity, tolerance and responsibility, promotes European diversity in an attractive manner, and teaches respect for it, permitting young people from different societies to carry out common actions, creating broad possibilities of intercultural learning. We act on many fields connected with culture and education. Our volunteers lead their own workshops, especially for children and youth, but also for adults, or in marketing.
