Resumo: The hosting organization is a local NGO that aims at involving young people with fewer opportunities in national and international projects in order to develop their skills and active participation.

Perfil: -age between 18 to 30 years old
-motivated to organize workshops with the topics above
-beginner to medium level of English
-open to collaborate with local volunteers
-active and with sense of initiative regarding youth workshops

Tarefas: This is a volunteering stage for ten months in which we offer non- formal personal development activities to young people with fewer opportunities aged between 12-20 years from our community.
The activities will take place in a youth center. The activities of the project aim to develop the social skills of young people with fewer opportunities. The activities should be events/workshops or meetings with local young people.
The activities should be focused on using ART as method of work like paint, music, dance, photography, theatre, drawing, etc.
The topics for art workshops are related with actual issues like:
- bullying and cyberbullying
- environment awareness
- sexual education
- human rights
- gender equality
- mental health

In additional, the volunteers will organize workshops/events about European youth opportunities, career path or entrepreneurship.

Condições: The volunteers will be accommodated in an apartment with separate bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, kitchen and balcony. The apartment will have all the necessary utilities (gas cooker, washing machine, refrigerator, TV, furniture in bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen, internet).
Monthly the volunteers will receive 240 euro in the first days of the month by bank transfer.
The volunteers will receive the travel money after they arrive in the project based on the travel documents
