Resumo: These are places of developing ideas, broadening interests, establishing new friendships, tightening bonds and intergenerational integration. Anyone willing can lead classes, take part in meetings organized by neighbours or simply drop by for coffee or tea.
The organization is a place fuelled with the creativity and commitment of the residents - that is why in the neighbourhood centres, among others, are organized: sports activities, tailoring, culinary activities, meetings with travellers, neighbourhood parents' clubs chats, and even board games or karaoke tournaments.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

We search for a volunteer who is empathetic, ready to act, open for a new experience and for the people in different ages, ready to learn and to grow. We are open for young people ready to share their passions and interests with others. Additional advantage would be an
experience in work with or for the local society, teamwork skills and time management.

Tarefas: Volunteer will work as an assistant/help to animator, whose task it to build up and support local community development and networking between city representatives, ngo’s, local activists and inhabitants. S/he will also be able to run activities on his/her own aiming at social animation in the local district.
Activity proposals for the future volunteer in the Centre:
- organization meetings on intercultural topics;
- supporting intergenerational meeting, its organisation and taking part in them;
- creating simple graphics for social media, taking; photos and making short video materials
- taking care of the Swap Points;
- helping in social garden, co-running it and social animation around it.

Horário: Tne Centre works mainly in the afternoons and weekends (mostly Saturday) as these are the moment when they can develop their after-school passions.
Therefore you will work mainly between 13 and 19 o’clock weekdays and on Saturday 10 to 15 o’clock, 5 days a week.
The detailed schedule will be decided with the volunteer, according to actual needs and ideas of the volunteer.
