Resumo: The hosting organization is a youth centre. It develops activities for young people, organizes trainings, workshops and conferences and cooperates with local partners.
Its mission is to support grassroots initiatives and assistance in putting forward ideas, which would enable young people to exchange their interests, including passions or just spending their leisure time in an attractive and creative way.
The organization has also the function of European information point called EURODESK, which familiarizes young people with the ideas of European projects, providing them with the opportunity to participate in mobility programmes or studies abroad.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We search for a volunteer who is empathetic, ready to act, open for a new experience and for the people, ready to learn and to grow. The volunteer will be active included in organization of various events or workshops.
The organization is the place to share passion and interests also for the volunteers. Additiona advantage would be experience in work with or for the local society, teamwork skills and time management.

Tarefas: You will work as an assistant/help to animator, whose task it to support youth in their development, exchange ideas, motivate youth to active citizenship and to help young people to develop their passions.
You will also be able to run activities on his/her own aiming at youth in the youth centre.
Activity proposals for the future volunteer:
· Taking photos during the events and making short video materials
· creating simple graphics for social media
· helping with the Festival organization
· daily work with the youth
· work in social garden

Horário: The organization works mainly in the afternoons and weekends (mostly Saturday) as these are the moment when they can develop their after-school passions. Therefore you will work mainly between 12 and 18 o’clock weekdays and on Saturday 12 to 17 o’clock, 5 days a week.
