Resumo: (kids & youth)
The organization is a non-profit association that has been founded by a group of creative and hardworking young people, passionate about education, human rights and European values.
Our main goal is to invest in the personal and professional development of young people and to promote quality education, solidarity and international spirit.
According to our mission statement, the organization is the Open Gate towards the World, the nest where we cultivate knowledgeable students working hand in hand with both public & private institutions active in the field of education, culture, youth, social inclusion.

According to our by laws, the organization also supports the pro-active participation of children, young people and citizens in community life, as well as the values of an open, tolerant, diverse & multicultural society. Through implementing our educational activities, the organization invests in the younger generation, so that youngsters could benefit from a set of healthy prerequisites for succeeding in any field they choose and anywhere their future would lead them around the world

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Volunteers need to be interested in learning & personal development, enjoy working with kids & youth, be open & tolerant to other cultures. Flexibility is required, as they'll work in a multicultural environment in an international team. Being responsible, positive, energetic, communicative & a basic level of English is desirable to ease communication during project activities & within the international project team of staff & volunteers.

Tarefas: The volunteer’s main role is to assist in extra-curricular and non-formal educational activities, coordinate indoor and outdoor activities, on-line and presential, non-formal educational programes for kids and youth, typical and underprivileged, from 15 urban and rural environments, within various events, with the organization & local partners. Also they will be actively involved in designing & implementing activities of social inclusion through non-formal educational methods.

Horário: 35 h/week, 2 days off every weekend, free bank/religious holidays plus 2 days monthly holiday.

Condições: Travels: (paid only once, for short therm and/or long term project service!) inform counterparts in SOs/youth on travel routes & prices to match set budget. The organization reimburses eligible costs to SO/youth upon receiving transport documents, invoices & boarding passes/tickets so to justify travel.

Bikes for local transport & reimburse public transport for activities within urban & rural areas.

Accommodation: volunteers will be hosted in safe & central lodging, 2 in a room, with all facilities & utilities included & functional; the organization pays bills for utilities.

Communication: phone credit & access to internet.

Banking: open Romanian bank accounts & cards for transferring pocket money (3 E/day) & food allowance (estimated up to 5 E/day) by online banking.

Health: youths register & bring ESC Insurance & also European Health Insurance Card.

Linguistic: Romanian Course language session, culture & civilisation, arranged by the organization for all individual vol. cross-border youth & Linguistic Assessment.
