Resumo: (Children and youg people)
Our entity works with children and youth in situation of social exclusion for more than 50
years; there are children from the age of day care centre up to the age of 18 in different
departments of the entity: day care centre, residential program or emancipation program.

The objectives of this volunteer project are:
- To promote social development and learning of the youth and children in the risk of exclusion through formal and non-formal education.
- Educate the minors and youth in the values of tolerance, respect to cultural diversity, interculturality.
- Provide resources for the minors and youth to acquire increase and develop necessary competences for the labour market.
- Create a space of mutual cooperation in the topic of education through the participation of the teachers, volunteers and the professionals which are related to the project.

The activities of the volunteer will take place in the following areas of intervention:
- Educational centre program
- Basic fostering residential program
- Emancipation program
- School home program

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteers would collaborate on daily activities in the center: support in formal classes in school, afternoon support in homeworks, classes of english/spanish/french with our youngsters, support in afternoon activities (sports, lunchtime, playing), work in ecological greenhouse with our youngsters, workshops..we have a big variety of activities, one volunteer does not need to do all of them :) all of the activities are with children from 3 years old until youngsters until 22 years old. Depends on the activity and the group of youngsters.

Condições: The volunteers would be accomodated in single or double rooms and the food is provided in our kitchen (breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks).
