Resumo: (children)
The hosting organization is a public early-childhood educational institution. The main focus of the institution is the musical education and development of child’s artistic expression. The kindergarten educates 90 children, who are divided in 4 groups. The kindergarten’s building is located in one of the most attractive district of the city, very close to the largest Wroclaw’s park, the so-called Japanese garden and institutions of higher education. It occupies 2-storey villa surrounded by green garden and playground.
We perceive our institution as open for partnership and cooperation, offering the creative workstyle. In our kindergarten all children are treated with a great respect, care and love. We do our best to recognize their individual needs and we try to meet them in order to stimulate children’s development. Our institution gives the children the possibility to learn and discover the world in a peaceful environment, in which the music and musical instruments are present.
Thanks to this approach the children are well-prepared to start the school education without stress and grow into creative young people, who have wide interests and diverse talents. It is important to mention that the success of the children is possible due to the great cooperation between the kindergarten and the parents of our pupils. The teachers of our pre-school give the parents detailed information about both the progress each child makes and problems the pupil may encounter or cause. Our teachers are well-trained and educated professionals who keep learning and gaining new skills. They are sensitive to children’s needs and know how to support them in their creative endeavors and overall development.
The kindergarten uses innovative methods and work approaches such as the individual piano lessons for children aged 4-6 which are lead in 2 languages (Polish and English). The other activities offered by our institution include:
- Rhytmics lessons organized 3 times a week
- Speech therapy activities in a frame of Speech Therapy Prevention Programme
- Physical activities organized on the gym of the University School of Physical Education
- Monthly music concerts organised through Concert Office.
We are fully aware that in order to stimulate the child’s continuous development it is important to provide both professional care and peaceful surrounding space that is why we keep modernizing the building of our kindergarten and its garden. We keep refreshing the interior and exterior space of the building, changing furniture, buying new swings and other playground facilities etc. The staff makes sure that the kindergarten offers a wide range of educational materials, toys, and extra equipment such as the sound system and projector.
