Resumo: (project with disable people)
The coordinating organization is made up of 168 associations. The coordinating organization was born in 2018. Since then, the coordinating organization is the juridical continuity.
We work in synergy with local authorities and have agreements and collaboration protocols, with specific focus on social policies and youth policies with Provinces, Planning Offices, Municipalities, Courts and External Criminal Enforcement Offices, Schools, Universities. We are accredited as a third-tier body of the Civil Service and we are closing the process for the accreditation of the Universal Civil Service.

We believe that the participation of citizens in the social contexts they inhabit represents an opportunity for individual growth and collective solidarity: through participation citizens exercise their skills, make new cohesive bonds, discover resources, develop ability to understand problems and increase social awareness, affect the living conditions of the communities themselves. Therefore, the organization's goal in the field of volunteering promotion is to build experiences that connect individual engagement activities to the social value they generate, to build supportive and cohesive communities. We work for set up, support and enhance citizens' participation experiences, enhance the learning generated through individual experiences, stimulate critical analysis of the contexts, methods and themes around which participation develops and how these are related to the experiences of traditional volunteering.

Perfil: All people aged 18 - 30, who have a genuine interest and passion for working with people with disabilities. No professional skills and experience is required, however it is recommended that volunteers have an experience in similar sector or providing support in personal life in order to have a realistic idea of working with people with disabilities. As we work with vulnerable adults, the volunteers should be kind, patient and compassionate. hobbies and skills that they are willing to share with the residents, such as art, music, cooking, drama, sports that can complement

Tarefas: Taking part to the dailly life of the daily centre, one centre for disable people ( 40 users, 5/6 social workes, one psicologyst, volunteers) young people will take part of the work of social workers and educators in developing activities aiming at social inclusion and growth of disable people and the maintanace of skills and ability in senior people.
Tasks of volunteers are : support the employees during the activities such as workshops ( creative, art-lab, art-lab such as drawing, theatre, dance, or sports activity as swimming or playing bocce, basket, music both live music or listening), during welcoming and lunch time ( supporting during lunch in distributing dishes, helping some users, collecting dishes and clearing the room) or training and promotional activity for evs volunteers ( language course, youthpass or ESC club meetings).
