Resumo: The hosting organization is an NGO focused in local development in Spain. Since 2010, together with the youngsters in our community, we promote awareness, active participation, critical thinking and ultimately selfsocial development. We've established strong alliances with local municipalities in several villages in our area with the aim to multiply opportunities for youth in the territory and bring in new resources.
The overall strategy of the hosting organizatio in the County is to combine the resources for the young population in the area and start cooperating among the villages to make the best out of the existing possibilities and create collective new ones optimizing the resources available.

Among youngsters we focus in the ones with fewer opportunities cause due to our actual socio-economic situation, most of the youngsters face severe economic problems at home and quite a discouraging scene in terms of employment or education. The organization is located in a town where the public communication system is not that good, and youngsters living in our area are quite disconnected from the opportunities that cities offer. We neither live in a rural area: several decades ago our community lost their connexion with farming and land because landowners decided to sell the land to built, and built and built... So, basically our geographic place is like a pre-urban landscape with lots of houses and not many things to do both in terms of personal and professional life.

Due to the duration of the project and its essence we will give priority to candidates with some experience with theater, dance or other performance arts, or experience with youth work.

Tarefas: - Organization of different workshops, non-formal activities and talks
- Designing of visual materials related with our main activities - posters, videos, publications
- support in the organization of specific events and activities
- Colaboration with other local and international volunteers for the promotion of different volunteering and international opportunities
- Support in the work with young people in the different Youth centers
- fostering spaces for reflection and interviews with people interested in participating in programs of volunteering
- administrative support in the office

Condições: Accomodation
The volunteer will stay in an apartment shared with other volunteers, located near the place where they will do their activities. Depending on the circumstances volunters may also have to share their rooms with another volunteer. They will have, to the extent of our possibilities, all the comforts. The house is fully furnished. Volunteers will actively collaborate in the tasks of order and care in the house.

Transport
To travel to and from their hometown, each volunteer will have a budget depending on where they travel, according to the Erasmus + distance calculator. Participants must coordinate the purchase of tickets with the organization before purchasing them. Local transportation necessary for the project will be covered.

Insurance
According to the European Solidarity Corps program, the volunteers have insurance during the entire period of volunteer service and will have pocket money and food.
