Resumo: NGO Youth Club is a mobile youth organization, which was created with support of the Youth Center, which is working since 1994 in the field of youth in Estonia. We involve youth from the age of 11th years old and provide variety of activities for self-development. The role of our organization is to promote the non-formal education, to involve youngsters in different social activities on local and international levels.

Our main activities we coordinate on 5 different fields:

- Projects
- Volunteering
- Non-formal learning events, workshops, forum-theatres, human-libraries, youth forums, trainings, seminars etc
- Camps
- Work practice

The main activities or topics are making the effective involvement in: youth cultures (theatre, music, dance, and art), organizing workshops and entertainments for youngsters (Flash mob, forum-theatre, juggling or different types of games), media and communication – intercultural learning through international projects, especially with the support of the Erasmus+ programme (Youth Initiatives, Youth Exchanges, Training courses). Often our activities are in cooperation with municipalities or cultural, social, volunteer organizations. We are used to work with local and international funds support, that to realise different events, entertainments, youth forums, seminars and trainings.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The long-term goal of this project is to provide to the volunteer from the European Union an opportunity to learn and develop him/herself through work with children and youngsters in the youth organization. Our NGO also have a direct contact with local ethnic minority community and a possibility to impact them directly with cooperation with the volunteer.

The objectives of this projects include:
• introducing the volunteer to the concept of non-formal learning through Solidarity Corps priorities;
• creating an appropriate timetable for her/his in accordance with volunteer needs, expectations and skills;
• facilitating the process of self-assessment for both the volunteer and the youth;
• providing the participant with opportunities to develop a workshop routine to realize her/his admissions and aspirations, on a voluntary basis;
• promoting intercultural communication and diversity through involving the volunteer into life of a foreign country and its minority community;
• promoting tolerance, interculturality and equality;
• facilitating development of creative and communication skills, fostering intercultural
learning, supporting mutual understanding between the volunteer and the youth of Estonia.

We intend this project to bring positive and stimulating influence on the volunteer herself/himself, as well as on the youth volunteer will be in contact with. We believe this project will facilitate personal growth of the volunteer, making more independent and self- confident, ready to take initiative and bring ideas into life. We aim to provide the volunteer opportunities to realize her/her own ideas and aspirations in action through working with the youth.

Volunteer main activities in our organization will include:
• Working with the youngsters and children in our NGO as well as our local partners (other NGOs and schools);
• Working in urban and suburban camps during school holidays;
• Teaching English/Native language and leading events on introducing culture to the local youth and anyone interested;
• Organizing and taking part in various projects, workshops, events, entertainment activities together with youngsters;
• Leading workshops on different topics, all developed by herself with help of NGO staff.
• Take initiative and realize own ideas in action (write own local project, organize event for children or other entertainment).
• The main focus of work will be in the Youth Club centre, where volunteer will try first-hand the methods of non-formal education.

The personal timetable will be created in accordance with her/his needs and desires, but it will be flexible and available for revisions, if needed. We will give to volunteer a workload of no more than 36 hours per week.
